My Class Hike

I join OVS class hike on January 27. It was amazing. I had a hard time to hike to the top and enjoy the beautiful view on the top of the mountain. I also have fun when I hike down. That day was my 14 years old birthday. I’m very lucky. I can have a specific birthday. I like that class hike day.

In fact, that was my first times join a long hike. I and my 8^th grade class mates went to a place called the Nor Hoff Peak. It was a mountain in Ojai valley. The hike was really hard, it was 12mil. We spend 3 hour to get to the top. I try to follow the boys, but they are too fast. I hike between boys and girls by myself. The world was quite, I can head the wind blowing on the leaves. The sun was warm; there were some clouds on the sky.  I can fell many things I never fell before. The trail was rocky and steep. I spend almost all my energy to hike to the top. There were many kinds of plant I never saw before on the side of mountain. I saw some interesting trees with red skin and many lovely flowers.  We hike higher then higher. The mountain was green and good-looking .I can saw the whole Ojai valley and many orange trees were full of bright golden oranges and fields and gardens.

Later, after two little water break, we rich the top of the mountain at noon.  I was so tiled. I spend almost all my energy to hike up. I‘m so exciting  when I saw the ocean shinning far away. I never saw the ocean in this way. I will never forget it.  I walk faster and faster. I never feel that the ocean is beautiful like this. I want to rich the top quickly. I was so happy When I actuality stand on the top. That was really high, I fell I can catch the cloud. I was very lucky. The class hike day was just chance to my birthday. I had a little party on the top of the mountain. I never think about I will hike 13 mil on my 14 years old birthday and have a birthday party on a mountain. Mrs. Cassidy took some really big cookies as the desert and everyone sings a “Happy Birthday” to me. I was very exultant. At last, all 8^th grades took a picture together. We spend a little long time to do this. We want to give this picture to our school master. He will leave next mouth. Also this is our last class hike. We will leave this OVS either.

After take pictures, we hike down. Hike down in easy then up. It was relaxed and fun. The trail was steep and rocky. My feet were sore. I almost tumble in many times. But I don’t need to spend too much energy to walk. The sun still shiny, the cool wind was blow on my face. It was not hot any more. That was the best weather for hike. We talk, laughed, and make fun to each other. Some boys were hiding on the side of the trail. When girls came, they jumped out of the boscage to scare them. We screamed and laughed. That was a wonderful time. We also made another unexpected thing~ All 8^th grades catch up the bus! That was the only time during 10 years! We were very pride with this.

The class hike was incredible glowing. The hike up was challenging, but the view on the top of the mountain was beauteous. I had a good time with friends on the way down. I like class hike, and I begin to like hiking. I wish I can go to join another hike soon.

Poetry writing

I like to write poetry. I fell a stream of spring is flowing in side my body when I am writing a poetry. I enjoy it. Write poses can help me thinking. However, this is my first time to lean write poetry white English. I lean three kinds of poetry, Diamante, Haiku, and cinquain. They are interesting. I lean how to use syllables to write poetry. I also found that the poetry writing in English and Chinese are similar. They all have rhyme, stanza, and couplet. I’d like to write some my own poetry in my free times. I hope I can learn and write more about poetry. 

Birds

 Red, blue, white and green.

They are the flowers in the sky.

Singing is their language.

They are sliver bell in the tree.

Greed the sunshine every morning,

Listen.

They are sinning beside my window.

“Come-on, come-on

Let’s fly”

My favorite Spring

Festive tradition

Every couture has their own festive tradition. spring  festive is my favorite festive  My favorite spring  festive tradition are  new year family dinner, new year late night and red bag money.

           New Year night family dinner It’s a great time.  In china people will together for New Year night family dinner. Every one are go home this time. I like family meeting because I can meet all of my families. My parents are busy and don’t have much times together. My uncle and aunt live apart. I’m happy to meet them. My grandparents love this time because they can talk with them---they like to talk. We also can eat many foods. I like fish best, because fish test well and in Chinese fish sound like Yu, It’s mean you can get things you want next year. I also like poke dumplings. We make dumplings together in the New Year morning. Some times we put a coin in one of them and put a candy in other one. If some one eats that coin dumpling, he or she can make much money next year. If some one eats that candy dumpling, he or she will going to have joyfully next year.  New Year dinner is most important part in spring festive, and its fun.

          I also like New Year late night. I like fire work; it’s a tradition activate in spring festive. My uncle often buys a bunch of fire works. We play them near 12 PM at night. The sky will be very beautiful that time; ever one is playing fire works. The sky is going to colorful and shines, and at that time I can play with my. We play some interesting games, like “fine cat”. That’s one of my favorite games. One person goes to somewhere and other one try to find him. It’s really exciting, we play this every year. About where the late night from, there is a story. Every year at spring festive, a big monster named “Year” will come to eat children and animals, but people had no idea with this. One year, an old man with long white beard came. He told people that the big monster don’t like noises and red color. So, every year in spring festive, people together make fireworks, put red paper on the door, wear red close and have party to scare “Year”. Its very happy time, I like it.

          Next morning after late night. It’s my favorite and most exciting time. Children can find a red bag with some money under there pillow when they wake up. It’s gift from parents. Every year that night, a little goose will be coming. He touches kids’ head to make them get sick. Parent put red bag money under children’s pillow to scare the little goose and wish there kids health next year. Sometimes parents will write hope for their kid on the bag. Every kids love red bag money, because some times they can get lot’s money. Some kids will wait it for long time. My father tells me, in old time read bag money was children only chance to get money from parent. Children can also get money from there other families or parent’s friends. But children can’t get them from people younger or same age with them. Every year at that exciting time, children can get lots of money with red bag, They can buy everything they want. I like to save my money many years for a big thing. I love red bag money.

          Spring festive is my favorite time of year. New Year dinner, late night and red bag money are my favorite Spring Festive tradition. I love them and they are my most sweet memory.                      

I AM THANKFUL FOR….

I AM THANKFUL FOR….

            I have many things and many people that I’m thankful for. My family, my schools and my hometown are three things I most thankful.

          First, I want to thank my family. I have a warm family. I love my parents. They give my life. They do they best to give me what I want--- find me good school and make me happy during my life. And I’m thankful for my grandparents. My dad and mom are busy, so my grandparents take care me most of time. They also my first teachers in my life. They were teaching me lot, and on weekends they took me to play. I also thankful for my dog Feifei, he is older than me and he was died when he fifteen years old. I can never forgot him----my first friend in the world. I am like play with animals more than people and my dog was play with me every day after school. I love my family.  

Then I want to thankful for my schools my first school is experiment primer school. I stay there for six yeas. I lean most of things I know from that school. Also I had many good friends there. The other school is Jing Yang #1 middle school. I meet a good English teacher there---Miss Chang. She helped me with my English every day after school.   And the last one I want to thankful is OVS, I love here. This TTIS is my first time to love a school (I didn’t really like school befoul), here is like my other home.

Also I am thankful my hometown. My hometown is a nice place. It has a good weather. And its have many beautiful maintains. I go visited many of them. I can never forget every day my father was taking me to that little maintain bake of our house, and take my to a beautiful maintain park every weekend. There are also many nice people in my hometown. My family was live in a high school for many years (mast of my families are teachers there) I meet many nice teachers there and they are all very kind. I have a nice Art teacher and a sinning teacher there. They give me a good memory and teach me many things. I’m thankful for my hometown, 

So I am thankful for my family my school and my hometown. At last, I want to say thank you to this world to everyone help me befoul and every thing I have and has.               

My Camping Trip

My Camping Trip

In this October I join a camping trip in OVS, we went to the beautiful ken river valley. This is my first time to join a camping trip. I think OVS camp trip is interesting. I had a good time on this lovely end of summer. I think Camping is good way to meet people; I studied more new things and play many nice games. Is really fun.

First, I get to know my school mate better. We played game ever night our homeroom played some games needs our work to gather, my favorite game is that game call “find memories”. But there were too many people in that night, so we can’t make everyone be quite, but the games are interesting. And we also cook together, I like that rainy day food it’s make me warm. I never forgot that morning all over my life. In this week we live together cook together, play together, and do everything together. Isn’t it good for our friendship?

Also, I also lean more. We not just play on this camping trip; we went to a zoo and some museum. I lean about animals in the zoo, and we visited the first museum is about Indians. The second one is history of west American. And the last one is the fish and the animals live in king river valley. I lean many things I lever hear befog. And saw many things I never see befog. I really enjoy lean more.

In additionally. I join many interesting activates. I went to hiking, this is my first time. That is a fantastic place, I like there. And I sing a song in the night, in the homeroom party that is a wonderful, party. \ Also I doing a hand make in a little Indian museum. We use the things what Indian people use, and made a interesting Indian thing. But I don’t know what use is for. I had a good time from activates. I like them.

So you can see, OVS camping trip is interesting. I made some new friends, lean some thing I don’t know befog and have many activates. I start to love it. I wish I can have an other good time in next spring’s camping trip.                   

My most afraid time

First time to swim

  That is a hot summer day, that time I was 5 years old. I went to my father’s hometown, there have a beautiful river. My father decided to teach me how to swim, so we went to the river I look at the beautiful water, and very afraid of it.

  I watched another person swim in the cool water like a fish, I wish I can swim like them. I tried to go in to the river. But I can’t make me stop afraid of it; the water is very cold, I am afraid I may folly down to the river, because I never swim before. So I ran bake to the land and cried very loud. I feel afraid very much. I felled cold, and I looked poor. Then father come and help me.

  Now, I can swim and swim very well. But I can’t forget that time, I first time to swim.           

My Grandfather

  My grandfather is 70 years old now, and he is tall and a little heavy.  He is the best English teacher in that city (but I don’t know why he can’t teach me), and it’s very easy make him angry. Mom says he is like an “Angry Bird”.

  Grand father likes watch the news, but he is often get angry with the news. He can be angry with every thing. The weather, people, the rules, TV show. He he’s face looks red .But when he was doing something he likes, like talk comminute, and drink wine, he looks happy.

  But Grand father is very kind to me, and he never angry with me. He teaches me English and brings me to school every day. My parents were busy when I was a little child. So I live with my grandparents in the day, at that time.

  In the free time grand father likes to plant plants. Drive car, play Erhui, or take a walk. He is very smart, so, he leans many things when he was retired. First he leans to dive the car, then he lean about work on computer, and play Erhui. He studies hard with every thing. He lean them very fast and doing very well.

  Grandfather is old but hens never stop to study. He wants to lean more and more. He is like a “Angry Bird” never mind every thing try to stop him, just doing and never stop.
